"The Four"
This is the story of four such girls who become unlikely friends. THE FOUR is comprised of four girls who each have a secret they are fearful to tell. They look like normal teenage girls whatever that means, but they’re a little bit different and they are each hiding a secret. Here come their secrets: Enyo is a Siren, half girl, and half bird. She's whip smart, kind and not quite mature enough to handle her transformations into a variety of birds which happen when she is startled or scared. Vivian is a witch who gets quite anxious when she’s nervous which causes random spells to occur that are incredibly strong when the moon is full. Lilith is a demon. She is silly and sweet and causes unpredictable weather whenever she sneezes and, of course, she suffers from terrible allergies. Then there is Mallory. She is a vampire who happens to be hemoglobin intolerant.
The four friends are dealing with the trials and tribulations of being teenagers in the City of New Orleans when they discover a Changeling in the French Quarter who is definitely up to no good, Henri, a Cajun boy is missing, and a full moon is on the rise. They'll work together using all of their powers, finding some help from the inhabitants of St. Louis Cemetery #1, all the while discovering friendship, acceptance and that it’s okay to be different. They will encounter all kinds of creatures, both magical and mortal, on their way to claim Henri from the fairy world. This is a story about being different, being accepted and finding out that doing the right isn't always the easiest thing, but it is always the right thing.
